Turkish Statistical Institute announced the construction cost index data.
Construction cost index increased by 3.44 percent in October 2022 compared to the previous month and increased by 117.07 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 3.88 percent and the labor index increased by 1.94 percent. In addition, the material index increased by 128.41 percent and the labor index increased by 85.65 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
CONSTRUCTION COST INDEX FOR OUTDOOR BUILDINGS INCREASED 125.83 PERCENT ANNUAL AND 4.48 PERCENT MONTHLY
Construction cost index for non-building structures is 4.48 percent compared to the previous month; increased by 125.83 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Compared to the previous month, the material index is 5.12 percent; The labor index increased by 2.07 percent. In addition, the material index increased by 139.40 percent and the labor index increased by 84.93 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
